Anishnawbe Mental Health Crisis
24/7 crisis line and support services for Aboriginal People based on Traditional practices, including support from Traditional Healers, Elders, and Medicine People. Call 416-891-8606.
Assaulted Women’s Helpline
Offers a 24-hour telephone and TTY crisis line to all women who have experienced abuse. We provide counselling, emotional support, information and referrals. We recognize abuse as one example of women's social, political and economic inequality in the world.
Health and dental plans for U of T students
Health and dental plan coverage for U of T students runs from September 1 to August 31 each year as provided by five student societies across the three U of T campuses. Additionally, the University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP) is a mandatory health insurance plan for all international and exchange students enrolled at U of T. Offers free support programs to people across Ontario and their families who are living with depression, anxiety or bipolar disorder.
Naseeha Youth Helpline
Naseeha provides our community with the tools needed to address mental health. With our confidential helpline, our youth receives immediate, anonymous, and confidential support over the phone from 12 – 9 p.m., 7 days a week. With our educational programs, we raise awareness within the community the stigma around mental health.
Peer-Led Wellness Workshops
Our wellness student teams are dedicated undergraduate and graduate Work Study and volunteer students who provide peer health and wellness education workshops on various topics relevant to students to make healthier choices and informed decisions related to their overall wellbeing.
Stella’s Place
Stella’s Place provides comprehensive mental health services for 16 to 29 year olds in a positive, peer engaging, non-residential community setting. They offer a full menu of choices including peer support, clinical, employment, wellness, studio and recovery programs to help young adults learn skills, find connection and be empowered to manage their own health.
Support for International Students
Receive support with transitioning to a new campus, city and country. International students can speak to a transition advisor and learn more about resources and services, ways to connect, and how to adjust to campus life.
